This multi-book series is an epic saga that follows a diverse set of characters through the seven-year Tribulation into the Millennium. Pastors, prayer warriors, FBI/CIA agents, Illuminati leaders, the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet vie against each other and God in this compelling drama that presents a strong Biblical case for a pre-wrath rapture that occurs after the midpoint of the Tribulation.
This third book follows the two witnesses after they are denounced by the Global Czar (the anti-Christ) as the world’s most dangerous fugitives through numerous escapes until they spark a major revival. The Global Army is sent in to quell the “uprising” but must contend against God’s miraculous powers at work through and around His two witnesses.
The Global Czar and the False Prophet employ a world-renowned CNN reporter to be their spokesperson and lend credibility to their leadership. She is a staunch athesit who becomes entangled in their demonic web. A mysterious minister vies for her soul as she bounces back and forth between darkness and light.
Meanwhile, the hideaways expand and form western and eastern Counter-Insurgency Agency campuses and develop a militia group to protect and rescue persecuted Christians. The prayer group goes on the offensive and wages spiritual warfare against the forces of evil.

I gave 4 stars again for this 3rd book in the series. I'm not one to post spoilers, nor do I claim to more about the bible than any pastor, preacher, father, or priest.I do disagree with whom the author chose to be the 2 witnesses, and I'm not certain I agree with the mid-trib-rapture he says will unfold in the end times.
I do enjoy their website and the reference section in the back of each book. I guess I interpret and have learned things differently than the authors views of the end times.
Still a good story with easy to follow characters. I enjoy learning more about Jesus, the Word of God., and scenarios for the end times.
My real hope for myself and my family is the pre-trib rapture is how it all unfolds and nobody overslept behind.!!

The Beginning of Revival The End Book 3 edition by John Jacobsen Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Wonderful saga.keeps me on the edge of my seat.can,t wait to see what happens next
Great!
I'm just about to start the 5th book in this series "The Beginning of Judgment". All of these books have been thoroughly enjoyable, with likeable characters, well described scenes and a good mix of heroes & anti-heroes. Jacobsen's lack of pre-trib theology is hit or miss for me, but given suspension of disbelief in that area, I find the stories realistic and intriguing. If you liked the first book, you'll definitely want to read them all.
I don't agree 100% with the interpretations, but that's okay - it's a valid take on the times in the book, and well constructed. I read it in one long day while traveling. i have recommended it to many friends, some of which have read it and also enjoyed John's take on the events.
I am really impressed with this series.
Although I don't agree with everything the author says I believe this is a great witnessing tool.
For those who are not believers it is a very exciting read.
An amazing price for such a good book.
You really become involved with the characters and their struggles
The first book was hard to get into but by the end I was intrigued and kept going, the constant facts and need to be so technical bored me at times.
This book was more involved in the fictional story but very much remaining true to scripture. I am hooked and already purchased the next book.
I am torn between the Pre Trib and Pre Wrath positions. I tend to lean more towards Christians having to go through some of the tribulation, but the constant pushing of the Charismatic agenda is really off putting in this book. The stressing of speaking in tongues, etc. and all the charismatic jargon plus the not so subtle put downs of anyone who doesn't walk in step with their beliefs is really a turn off. I do see a lot of possibilities that the Pre Wrath position might be correct, but I don't buy into the rest of it. Why not just tell a story about the end times without trying to force everyone into your culture? In the end, all that matters is that Christ is my Savior. I don't think your tongues as you use them today are real. I think the Bible is clear that tongues were used for communication between people who spoke different languages. The apostles and other Christians were given the ability to speak different languages in order to WITNESS to people. The response to this is always, "Well I speak an "angelic tongue." Although angelic tongues are mentioned in the Bible, isn't it funny that everyone today suddenly speaks an "angelic tongue?" Spare the me stories of a "friend of a friend of a friend who you heard had suddenly burst into Chinese." I've heard it all before, never with any proof. No names or video of the "friend." And for those of you who say they speak a "private" prayer language This isn't biblical. Tongues were meant to be interpreted for everyone by a second interpreter and if an interpreter is not available you are to keep quiet. It's all in the Bible. So no I don't think tongues are used today, at least not at this point.
I gave 4 stars again for this 3rd book in the series. I'm not one to post spoilers, nor do I claim to more about the bible than any pastor, preacher, father, or priest.
